In his early days, Michael worked on some of the world’s most famous stud farms gaining invaluable hands on experience in the bloodstock world. From there Michael moved on to take charge as CEO of The Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association and then as CEO of the semi state body, Irish Thoroughbred Marketing. Laterally he was appointed as Director of International Affairs and Communications at Horse Racing Ireland. His career is built on a can-do attitude and a fierce desire to deliver as promised whilst always adding to his network of contacts many of whom he counts as friends. He has the ability to build something out of nothing and connect like-minded people together to achieve their common goal. He is a highly experienced Sports Consultant with significant experience of working at Board level on global Marketing and Sponsorship projects that have achieved significant quantifiable optimisation of return on investment - not only identifying strategy but securing funding and support from both the private sector and government using high profile international connections.
