Amanda is an independent equine regulatory veterinary surgeon. She worked at the BHA between 2015 and 2022, latterly as the Head of Equine Welfare and Anti-Doping. During this time, she sat on both BHA and international veterinary panels, and was also a member of the EHSLC Veterinary Committee and chaired the Thoroughbred Industry Welfare Forum.

Since leaving the BHA, Amanda has worked with several international regulatory teams on a consultant basis, including Racing Victoria as the International Participant Manager for the 2023 Spring Racing Carnival.
